strange creations for everybody
eerie and strange (formerly known as ROSE EERIE) makes garments for all people, using recycled fabrics, up-cycling secondhand items or things that would otherwise be thrown away. Garments are created by hand, and are all one of a kind, as even items available in larger quantities will all vary slightly piece by piece. Committed to sustainability and ethical manufacturing, hoodies and jersey items are made by No Sweat, a grassroots campaign which supports workers worldwide, fighting sweatshops whist still being organic and good for the environment.

Eerie is a multidisciplinary artist and creative based in London, previously often making fashion and related pieces of work under the alias / alter ego Rose Eerie, however this name changed to eerie and strange in 2024 to allow for all their work to exist under the same umbrella. They began working in the creative arts through the success of their teenage style blog, Rose and Vintage, which won the Company Magazine Best Teen Style Blogger award in 2014. Through keeping this blogspot as a documentation of their personal style, they made contacts and worked with several brands and companies such as Urban Outfitters, Beyond Retro and Dr Martens. Whilst studying for a Foundation Diploma and Fashion Design BA at Kingston School of Art, Eerie built an extensive portfolio of work in writing, styling and photography as well as beginning to design as eerie and strange. They also at this time began their own magazine, 5.18. Their work has been featured in Dazed, Wonderland, Metal Magazine and Thiiird Magazine, and exhibited in the Tate Modern, Norman Rae Gallery, The Silver Building and The Five Bells. They also were Fashion Assistant at the now closed XXY Magazine, producing many pieces for their online magazine which unfortunately are no longer online.
Currently, Eerie works mostly between eerie and strange clothes making, and 5.18. They continue to write and photograph freelance for publications, and enjoy creating many types of creative work, from fashion design to painting. Please click through to see more of their writing and photography.
