ROSE EERIE hoodies are here!

The hoodies themselves are made by No Sweat, a grassroots anti-sweatshop campaign that works in solidarity with independent trade unions and workers rights groups around the world. The hoodies are made by their production partners, Oporajeo – a worker’s initiative in Bangladesh set up by survivors of the Rana Plaza disaster. Oporajeo workers earn a living wage, in decent conditions and have democratic control of their work.

Oporajeo is a carbon neutral factory that offsets emissions with their own tree planting project. No Sweat Hoodies are made from fully traceable organic cotton, using azo-free dye and a ETP water filtration system.

I then personalise the hoodie by hand, using screen printed patches and scrap, salvaged or donated fabric and unique trimmings or finishings. Stitching is a little fun and messy, keeping the ROSE EERIE spirit in a wearable and comfortable piece of clothing.
