Up-cycled tie created for Tom’s top surgery fundraiser, with all money from this sale going to him!
This design is a beige/navy/red stripe, with handmade patch sewn on, a button and some safety pins. >>> NOTE: This tie has been reclaimed, it was damaged and so destined for landfill however I felt it deserved a new life! I sewed the patches and button over some small moth holes. The back of the tie has a cream lining, which is lightly stained (picture coming shortly) however it is on the back so can’t be seen when worn. It’s second hand so to be expected and I think it’s worth giving it a second life! <<<
Deadstock, damaged or otherwise salvaged ties have been fixed, re-designed and up-cycled to create a new piece from old, keeping things sustainable! Patches are hand sewn on, and are made from studio scraps with a lino print design, made using fabric screen printing ink that has been heat set.
As with all handmade items there will be variations between each product as they are all unique, and care must be taken to keep them in good condition, such as ironing screenprint designs before washing, and washing inside out (or for ties / patches, inside a bag or wrapped in some way) on a cool wash. For extra safety I always recommend hand washing. Also note ROSE EERIE products are made in a home studio, where a dog is present.
